i use the "Exotic keepers Record" program and it helps keeping them in order. I use a china marker (kinda like a crayon) and write the code on the container

it's the best program that I have found so far and the only one I use now, You can keep track of your amphibians, invertebrates and reptiles....

I put the code on a label, as well as the scientific name and the common name. All my T's are labeled.
