I'm bad at naming stuff too. I usually let other people name my pets lol. If I adopt a pet I usually keep the name people gave it. My turtle's name is Touche' though, which I don't really like so I just call him "turtle". Heh.
I went through the list of my snakes and made feeding charts to keep on my computer for them all last week and named them.
As far as my T's go: my l. parahybana is named "Betty" and my A. Versicolor is "Muffin". My Chaco is "Doodles".
I named my giant hognose Larry, which seems to fit for some reason. Hehe.

I prefer to call my hair thick and luxurious. Ken said I have cool hair even called me sexy.

My Spiders names are Antoinette, Phiz, Black Betty, Sandy, and Bob. Antoinette is a sweetheart and she has gotten bigger. Phiz is a Rosehair but always flicks hairs. Black Betty is a baby G. pulchra, Sandy is a BIG Mexican Red rump and me and my dad are to scared to hold her because he hasn't held a spider like that in awhile. Bob is a baby versicolor and he got out on my lap once and he is fast but my dad caught him. And my dad is Bonedog. _________________ Hey, can I hold your tarantula for you Mister.

I only name mine out of necessity to keep my records straight. For instance, I have 8 L. klugii so I name the females, males appropriately and the unsexed ones get names which could be boys or girls names like Terry. Actually, the klugiis are the only ones who have names!

For those that don't have names, I use an alphabet letter and a number...A. versicolor L1, L2, L3. B. smith L1, L2, L3, W1, W2. etc.
Most of them have a file card for record purposes with the common and scientific names, date I got them, who they came from, sex (if known), their ID number, and molting history. _________________ The future belongs to no one.
I used to name my Ts...back when I had 10. LOL. Once you reach 100 it starts becoming cumbersome. I used to label my tanks all nice and neatly, but now that my collection has stabilized, I can just just look at them and tell what species and sex they are and even when they last molted. _________________ Kyle Dickerson
