That sounds like a city that would wear its shirt unbuttoned revealing a thick gold chain. I think it would have slicked back hair and a tan, too.

xD edgar you're hilarious.
And yes, I at least had a killer party last night to make up with todays absense. Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow, so no show for me! Sniffles. But there's always the even bigger sac show... I'm sure I would have ended up buying something had I gone today, anyways. I dont need any more snakes. The snake rack I just ordered is already going to be full...

A big thank-U to James Tuttle for his excellent roommate referral service at the SJ Reptile Show. I now have a Pamphobeteus platyomma, a G. pulchra and the absolutely outrageous Ephebopus cyanognathus!
Reptile shows!!! I always say I have enough pets and I'm just going to buy supplies, but I mysteriously end up taking home some new critters.
This afternoon I chatted briefly with Ken the Bug Guy and James of Blaberus.com. These guys know their stuff and have quality animals. There were a couple other vendors selling a few tarantulas but imho these two had the best quality specimens.
I ended up bringing home a young Pamphobetus nigricolor and a B. vagans sling. I really don't know much about the P. nigricolor species but it was so gorgeous and James showed me it was not a picky eater. Its healthy feeding response was demonstrated when James dropped in a little roach. I also acquired the start of a Madagasgar hissing cockroach colony. I've kept hissers before and miss having them in the classroom to keep the annoying parents away. :)
I really should stop going to these reptile shows.... but I doubt I will stop!
