Thank you everyone ! All day i have been thinking about tiny Ts . Realistically i know i will never have an expansive T collection , my hands will always be full with my reptile/rescue responsibilities but i have the T addiction and I am daydreaming aloud about the smaller sp someday becoming my niche in the hobby . My journey begins with finding out as much as i can . . Intuitively i humbly surmise that they are distinctively Beautiful and perhaps many are quite specialized ? . . the elegans certainly is a stunning spider . I will research more!

I just looked at Mikhail Bagaturov's site and saw the Cyriocosmus pics . . Also i love the way he writes ! . . " these enigmatic , mystic and beautiful creatures . . " i cant help but feel it was Awe that composed the inner spire that matrixed into The Sciences and for so long cold and numbered data Only was the signature of the scholar but scientists like Bagaturov embrace the whole and original soul of study of life . To purposefully detach from the character and beauty of living forms studied - does it mean we are being more serious , or simply less observant ?

There's a 1.5" mature male C. elegans at petcenterusa.net right now for $55, in case you want to adopt... Paul Becker is my favorite on-line dealer and a very helpful guy.
Maybe my little dream is going to come true (!) thank you im going to hit the hay now and think . . i need to learn more talk to you and Lony before about how you have your guys set up
Their set-ups can be as simple (all they need is a good amount of substrate to burrow, a "rock" or bark piece to burrow under, heat and humidity), or as complicated as you'd like (complicating set-ups can result in hours of clean-up  ).
They are incredibly nifty little guys, (I still love C. sellatus, C. leetzi and C. perezmilesi), but C. elegans is an incredible little T as well.
I am currently raising some C. argentinense. I understand they are not as flashy  , but once you get into dwarfs you realize they all have an incredible appeal to them. Be it their hunting skills (C. elegans packs a punch ;)). I've found a lot of the dwarfs are extremely feisty with their food. C. elegans will do the "cricket rodeo" with crix exceeding their own size
Thank you what great stuff to wake up to this Am . i have a huge change jar by the front door , where i empty my pockets when i come in . thats how i can justify the expense and have always totally planned on getting a terrestrial plus when my avic molts she is going into another encl and that leaves the 2 gal free
* Yes! the dwarfs sound fantastic & fun to observe built like little power packs ! In the goal that is forming i would want a nice representation - not only the flashy but monkey that i am the flashy is going to be my first: speaking of which i cant wait to see how my avic comes out . . Ts seem to call out to be painted on velvet like Elvis
