It was a really fun time, and for the first time I felt really "involved", like I was one of the monkeys. I'm humbled!
And I came home and almost lost the P. irminia I got from Fred AGAIN - it got away from me when I was trying to move it to a TAP Plastics cube and I had a heart-thumping time catching it and maneuvering it into the new enclosure. It was terrifying. Maybe I am not ready for "advanced" species...!

LOL, you are part of the monkeys.
I am glad you found the little bugger. _________________ Visit me @Tarantulas.us

Yes, it was great having table mates. I am glad you brought the back drop, I will have to put this in a 10 Gallon, hopefully tomorrow.
See, I told "Not Dave" to just pick it up but he did not listen... _________________ Visit me @Tarantulas.us

I almost had a heart attack in the kitchen, I swear. I freaked. The thing leaped out of the kritter keeper, bounced off something and landed on the counter, where it made a dash for the underside of my toaster. I managed to get the lid of the kritter keeper over it, but getting it into the container after that was completely insane. I think I am going to get out of tarantulas now.
By the way, did anyone notice the cute 20-something couple watching the mating displays? They couldn't contain themselves and started heavily making out in front of the table. I'm serious.

LOL, I totally missed the two love birds.
YOu will get over the shock of the irminia. Wait till you get a pokie, the irmina's speed is like a snails compared to a pokie... _________________ Visit me @Tarantulas.us

Of course I missed the love birds because I was consumed with something else
What on earth was I talking about. Gosh, that is one awful picture of me.
Everyone, please delete my pictures. I am sobbing. _________________ Visit me @Tarantulas.us
