lots of stuff out there today
let's see, first we found a garter snake almost ready to shed
next we found this lovely boa under a log with a fence lizard
its tail
boa buddy
a different kind of centipede
ringneck snake
another boa,
found this little guy with the young boa
see?
battle scarred garter
calisoga i collected
tick laden alligator lizard
not really sure what kind of spider this is but it was pretty cool
yet another boa
big girl
another calisoga i collected, this one a mature male
see?
found this gopher in a field
fence lizard and buddy rod
some grubs of some kind, not sure what
and last: a very large jumping spider
we also found a couple more ringnecks, a couple more garters, a couple more alligator lizards, a load more fence lizards and various insects of interest but too fast for the camera=( we also found a green racer but it was REALLY fast and i failed to capture it in hand or on camera.
hope you enjoyed! _________________ get it off me! get it off me!

WOW! Josh, you had one heck of a good day! Nice pics! And that's one healthy looking charina in one of those pics!
Ricky, I was talking to someone the other day who said they have lots of jumping spiders around their house and they're going to catch them for me. I'll let you know if it happens. _________________ The future belongs to no one.

i might breed them at some point but i don't think the "female" is mature since she's smaller than the MM. if anyone has a MF and would like to try their hand at breeding, hit me up for him _________________ get it off me! get it off me!
That jumping spider sure looks like Phidippus johnsoni... great distribution if they are up there as well :) probably a female (based on abdomen markings)
