T hunting areasWhat are some good hunting spots in our area where I might be able to find some T's? I really want to keep a few California T's and bring some to the SRJC to show my class. People don't realize we have T's in CA. so I think it would be interesting to bring a few local specimens :)

Re: T hunting areasnone in Contra Costa County. there are spots of private land off Mines road in Livermore that im sure have them. ive found wandering males out there between mile marker 6 and 11.

i read some things about finding aphonopelma's check out Mt Diablo in walnut creek. from a dude on arachnoboards and also mission peak in fremont or the oakland hills in grassy, exposed areas. you will find them~

Old thread, but I'll add this, anyway. I find many tarantulas while out herping in Alameda Co. The males cross the roads like crazy at the right time of year. PM me for location.
