I suspect this is a scam. In pictures I've seen from various angles the spider and bird remain in exactly the same position, spiders legs and everything. ....I think they're both fake... I also haven't seen an article with an interview with the guy who submitted the pictures.... |

I think someone probably found a dead bird and stuck it in the spider web. Like all those pics of a mantis eating a bird, I find it hard to believe the mantis actually caught it. They're quick but they're not that strong compared to a bird.
Same with the spider, if it is real, is prolly staged. |
