pseud vs pseudDoes anyone here know if these two species are actually the same thing?Pseudhapalopus spinulopalpus Pseudhapalopus sp. "Blue" I ask because I thought they were, until I began seeing utterly different photos of them. For example: http://www.birdspiders.com/gallery/p.php?id=899 ("Pseudhapalopus sp.") and: http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/gallery/showimage.php?c=70&i=2129 and: http://www.beccastarantulas.com/t...hotography/P1080134save_Small.jpg (both links stating "Pseudhapalopus spinulopalpus") Note the very obvious iridescent blue rump on the former, and not on the latter, and the last link depicts both males and females. Anyone know the score? PC |

Looks like my question was answered over on Arachnoboards, and the answer is - different species.
Does anyone here happen to have a juvenile or sub-adult "blue" they can photograph? PC |
