Here are my pictures from our Meeting/get together on Saturday. It was definitely a great turn out. I am estimating Ken and Georgia had about 35 people in their living at some point.

Nice pics, Lony! Thanks for posting those. I just took a few cause there were so many cameras there and mine is so old (2.1mp) but here's what I got:

This was the best BugFest by far and I had a great time!

You forgot to mention that I (Fred/Sntcruzan) took on and stood by my challenge to hold all blondis and the Haitian brown. John .i forgot did you get to hold the T B?   LOL

It has now been corrected...
It sure was great to see both blondi's and the cancerides on you hand. Not sure I will ever be able to do that.

We had lots of people taking photos, so hoefully they will post them.

Great Meeting guys. although it would have rocked if someone held that thai tiger...lol..

Awesome meeting!  I believe I was offered $5 to hold that thai tiger... maybe next time if there is a zero added to that 5..  :D

As for the bite fund, how about "Voluntarily Bitten by a Thai Tiger" Bite Fund?

NEXT MEETING I'M GOING TO HOLD THE GIANT HAPPY BLACK WIDOW! The black widow which all other black widows have spawned from.
Well, i'll hold it if Ken and Gorgie can get it off the their ceiling and bring it...

Speaking of that thai tiger. I was rehousing all of the tarantulas that I got from this meeting and it came time to transfer the thai T. To my stupidity, I tried to put the Thai into a small KK, not a good idea. She did not like that at all. At first she was real mellow and I thought that it would be an easy transfer.  I thought  that I would just give her a little nudge and that would be that. YEE oow .... She jumps out of the deli cup and ran up the side of the KK and on to my table that I'm working at. She flies across the table and I 'm thinking that I do not want her running free in my house. I got the great idea to invert the same deli cup over her as she was running over another deli cup or something. Any ways she runs up into the deli cup, as I had  figured they always want to move in a upwards direction.  My heart was beating a little fast as I carefully slide a lid under the cup to trap her inside. I then set up a 2 gallon tank for her and she was then satisfied with her new tank.

I'm not going to try to hold her...Way too fast.

Really scary.... Did it go in threat posture?..Gee..i woulda peed myself.. i tried nudging her once..with my finger and wooo..ranaround the tank and stopped before my hand in threat posture

LOL my A. minatrix did this the other day. A little sling and it scared me, one can easily be lost this way.
I can only imagine how you felt when the thai tiger took off. I would have died. My heat rate when up just reading this….lol

the female i got from you :D held her twice, ive read some stuff that pookies have more of a dangereous bite? i taught that crown went to the baboons..
