Pacmaster here

So I finally found a buncha locals into the same things as me . . .

My name is Greg, 31 yrs old, live in Sac, and LOVE Tarantulas!

Just recently got in the hobby after years of avoiding it, always been a frog and snake keeper, always.

In the last several months I have built a respectable and growing collection of avic species(I love avics), most of my others are freebies w/orders.
As with all of the animals I own and work with, Im not into having a gazzillion different species of tarantula, I like to find the genus I like the best and get good with it.
I currently have 46 pacman frogs, many many kingsnakes, and the avics(with a few oddballs in each group of course, but not many).
I find it easier to keep animals that have similar care requirements.

Anyways, Im no expert on Ts, but Im learning quickly and have lotsa Ts to give me experience.

I can be sarcastic at times.
I always wanna know the "why" behind something I dont understand, and some can take this as antagonism, but I just  want to KNOW!

Im gonna blow this place up with pics, I take pics for almost every thread I make.
I love the whole forum idea, and can stay on and type for hours(when its not frog/snake/tarantula night).

I hope I can make some new friends here!
See ya.

Heres me:

Ill have to bring some of the smaller ones, all my biguns are still being cycled for breeding.
The adults are all in the 2nd week of feeding after waking from aestivation, and they got a week or 2 left till they go into the rainchamber
Ill bring a few that were bred by a buddy of mine in san diego, I can sell or trade a few of those, but Ill also bring some cornutas to show off which wont be for sale.

Hey, hows it goin?
I know marysville well, used to date a girl there.
Do some research on pacmans for a while, I can answer alot of questions.
With any luck, I should have some babies within a coupla months, you could get one that you know everything about . . .
I love my avics, but couldnt resist an offer on AB for some brachys, so I got 10 of them for cheap!

Hey Cyndie, how ya doin?
I appreciate the offer of carpoolin, but Imma smoker and wouldnt wann subject you guys to that(I hate it myself these days).
Plus Im gonna go down to the peninsula(home) to see my buddies and stuff.
Whereabouts you at in Sac, maybe I could follow you down there.
I know how to get to concord, and could get the directions, but it would be just as easy to run a convoy down there.
What kinda parrot you got? Always wanted one, but I dont have the kinda lifestyle for a commitment like that . . .

Hey Greg,
Welcome to the Forum.
Sounds like will fit right in with the rest of us. How did you find us?

I am Avic lover as well, but do also keep other species.

Come to the meeting on April 25th.

(Sorry for the late reply)

Yeah, no smoking allowed in my car, or anywhere near me really lol. We're in Rancho Cordova, so Sunrise and 50. But we may be making another stop in Concord so following us may not really work.

I have a little green cheek conure, she's almost 12. Yeah its a pretty big commitment, its like having a kid - that you can put in a cage, lol.

A Presidential Welcome

Welcome to our group
