New to BATSMy last Tarantula passed away recently after having her for about 5 years. I joined the society to increase my knowledge and expose myself to a more unique variety of tarantulas. Pet shops don't have a very good selection (if at all) and most aren't very knowledgeable. I wanted to be able to find like minded individuals that I could learn from and meet at get togethers. I feel I have found kindred spirits. Let it be known, I am looking for a replacement and then some.
