Looks like im getting another today!Well last night around 8:30 I get a call from a co-worker, he starts with Fred, bring in a container tomorrow I caught a tarantula for you. So of course i was a little sad that this poor lil guy was taken from its home, but aparently they are all over his property and the area he lives in. So anyways I made a mad dash to Petco and bought a large critter keeper, a bag of eco earth and a hide.
I'm a little nervous since he said it very fast and to top it off its in a 12x12 tupperwear comtainer with holes on the top, so i'm a little worried about wrangling it into its new home when it gets here. I'll keep you guys posted followed by some pictures.

My co worked just showed up with the little guy :) from a quick glance it looks like a California Ebony, but cant be sure its def. a Aphonopelma spp. As soon as he stops hanging upside down I will snap a picture and post it!

Still no pictures, he has been in his hide since he moved from the top of the enclosure. When I came in today I dropped in a cricket and of course the cricket runs into the hide...and my new T decides to dine in LOL! I'll be watching the enclosure all day and if he peaks out I'll picture up :)
