looking for some advise

I was wondering if anyone has handled a Theraphosa blondi and if they could give me some advise.

I don't have any advice since i don't handle my T's and don't have a T. Blondi, but I found a vid on youtube of a guy handling his. Here is the link.

I also do not have one, cut strongly advise against it. For one the urticating hair is said to be the worst kind and second the fangs can reach 1 " long on some adults.

Absolutely. Here is some advice. For this type of handling, have the following on hand:

o A supply of band-aids
o Hydroccortizone cream
o A boo boo kisser (if the boo boo kisser is attractive, it makes
the healing process all that much faster, ya know?)
o A friend to point and laugh

I hope this has been helpful.

very helpful edgar

you might want to have some latex gloves on as well. be aware that a T blondi is going to be very skittish and flighty so you're more likely to injure the T than have it injure you.

i reserve my handling for the more laid back sp except for accidental handlings of course
