EdgarOrtega

Good one's Francisco! Got any info on that last one? lol
ftorres

Hello,
The last one is one of my favorite.
He is an entomologist in Veracruz, Mexico.  He came acroos the Megasoma oocidentalis and was playing with it.
Since it was a natural reserve the animal was not preserved, it was relased.

I would have love to keep the beetle for my colection it was HUGE!!!

The other pic where Laura is holding the B klassi and Emp scorpion was taken in Mexico aswell, she work for one of the best breeders of Brachypelmas and other tarantulas in Mexico.

They have permits to breed and raise legaly and every sling or juvenile they sell comes with a permit to own.
darth skippy

crap, that's a big beetle!!!
EdgarOrtega

I REALLY want to get one my African Reds to do a threat pose in my hand. That would be awesome, I just hate digging them out. For some reason none of my traps are really that agro ??? And no they are not sick!

Wow, thats a BIG millipede codeWilster! How long is it? Can you bring it to the next meeting?
CodeWilster

I am terribly sorry to say that I traded her (and the adult male) a while ago. I was unaware of them no longer being imported at the time....ONE OF MY BIGGEST MISTAKES EVER!!!! I *thought* my pet store could get more in.

Anyway, *sigh*, she was I think about 10". Very thick and heavy too lol.
UglyKid2

Oh man, that's tragic! But you're coming to the meeting, right?
CodeWilster

Well that's sort of the reason I've been quiet lately. I would have reserved a booth and whatnot but July is such a busy month for me! I wasn't going to say for sure until I know (am trying to flip flop my schedule at work with another employee, if it works out then I'll be there   )
