My avic prefers the glass walls to the cork shard and  lil' branch of grapevine in her tank . She did use the cork underside in the anchoring of her funnel ,  new architecture added after this last molt -  encorperating the cord of the digital thermometer instead of the painstakingly chosen g.vine right next to it ! Oh she pops out on the cork when its feeding time and she basks occasionally but she prefers the glass for sure to naturalistic surfaces . i would love to know something about a. versicolor in the wild - do avic children live on /in  smooth polished leaves  is that why she is comfortable with the tacility of glass , and when she was a wee sling - plastic ? Its been a while but i recall A . avicularia who i think were wild caught - not having this tendency . Any feedback ?

I like you.

I've seen a lot of photos of avics webbing up in leaves, so thats certainly possible. I dont have any data for you, though, as my Avic knowledge is mostly in captive husbandry.

Cool question, though.

Hey, thanks.

Why didnt your Mr. Greens work???? :o

I have noticed the same behavior with the A avicularia I have kept.
Perhaps they like the cool feel on their toesies?
I have not data that refers to a study done on this, nor have I ever read anything in regards to this.
