Hello from the South Bay

Hello,

My name is Samantha and I'm a psychology student at San Jose. Keeping animals is just my hobby at this point as I intend to seek a career in law enforcement.

I got into keeping tarantulas relatively recently after deciding to branch out from keeping true spiders that I caught around the house. Right now I have eight Ts and one more on its way as well as my collection of true spiders which is always changing.

I'm a big fan of dwarf tarantulas and I'm a sucker for new world terrestrials.

Hope to meet everyone at the next meeting!

Thanks for the welcome BayLee!

Anyway, I look forward to going to the meeting.

And my new arrival just came in the mail! She's an unidentified mature female dwarf Aphonopelma. I couldn't be happier. Maybe I'll bring her to the next meeting for help IDing her.

Sounds great, where did you purchase him form?
saminthemiddle

It's a her and I bought her though a private sale from a friend in Southern California.

I have her in an acrylic display cube so I can see her from any angle and she's most certainly a female. I'm thinking she's either a joshua, a hualapai or some yet unknown species. She's WC, which I hate buying, but nobody breeds dwarf Ts.

LOL I am getting my right and left confused today. Sorry for the mistake....
Post some picture if you can . Would be nice to see a picture of her.
