I didnt know about this. Interesting! I like the t shirt but this isnt exactly for the hobbyist. Marlene might benefit from this though. Are you going to submit an abstract, Lony? :D

HAHAHAHA.. I might go just because talking to scientist or listenening some stuff actually rubs off but I've switch to English.  I've come to realize (at the last minute and thank god before it was too late) I'd rather write and talk about bugs than study them.  Too much science and not enough feeling.  And I'm not too fond of sticking the really interesting ones in formaldahyde either.

Uh Oh, I think we have a Renegade Entomologist in our midst!  :P

Hmmm.....writing and talking about something implies having studied it.

In my humble opinion, science can't be had without passion. Any scientist would know that.

In a sense.  What I mean is that I would rather study them in a more worldly and general sense than stare at their cellular functions and map their genome.  And honestly if you go into Ent, you can't get away from that cellular stuff.  I tried.  They catch you and stick you with other biology class too.

I will give you that, however not enough uh.. compassion for the individual subject to testing. Although I know that in the case of insects they don't feel much in the way of pain and hurting monkeys and mice benefit all of mankind.   So it's kind of a draw there...

Laughing!!!  I hope you mean already dead and not put in to die.  That would be rather grim...

:)
