Over Labor day weekend I flew down to San Diego. Did some jet skiing, parasailing, boogie-boarding, bodysurfing and whatnot all with my Aunt Laura, but that was only half the trip!!!! I spent a couple days with my friend Kyle Dickerson as well. We had a super spectacular time (well at least I did). Anyway I'll cut the rest and get straight to the pics. Hope you guys enjoy!

Oh and sorry Kyle for shutting your trunk right smack on your noggin'

I made a run for it but Kyle wasn't so fortunate...

This was the rock-crawling, snake-finding, bird-terminating, little red racer of the trip for sure.

"Aaaahh man!!!"

Super exciting find for me...

Things started getting a bit frisky and so it was time to go home...

Thanks again Kyle for an amazing trip.

P.S. More pics and info on the trapdoor spiders will be posted in my other thread as soon as I can find the time here in the next few days...

Those are all Bothriocyrtum californicum. There were actually a lot more than that but once we opened the trapdoor they all ran down to their mommy :)

Thanks everybody! Sure was a lot of fun!

And Marlene, it costed me less than 100 bucks round trip to fly there!
