At the last meeting I bought a 1 inch G. Pulchra, Peter had told me what a champion digger this little guy was...and he wasnt kidding. Saturday night I checked on it and there was 7 holes, Sunday morning there was only 1 hole, this is not uncommon, pretty much every few days the little guy would change it up. Sunday afternoon I was at an airsoft game and got a call from my wife....
I rushed home to find what I thought was a hole to be darker piece of substrate. I started digging while be very careful, I dug till I reached its hide. it looks like its tunnel system collapsed bringing his tiny hide ontop of it, my wife was pretty scared as she describded it and being pinned down, it took a little work but got it free....felt like paramedic or somthing rescuing someone. it seems fine, I also removed 1/2 of its substrate so its burrows are not as deep!! anyone ever have this happen to them before? _________________ Have you hugged your Tarantula Today?
I think you should send the little guy over to me so I could do some observations to make sure that everything is alright. _________________ Don't tell me what your gonna do.

Be careful with this species, they will turn their whole substrate upside down if you give them too much.
Kind of like with kids, you give them Crayons and think they will only color the coloring book, but then hours later you check on them and the whole room has ugly cripple all over the walls. _________________ Visit me @Tarantulas.us

I liked your avatar so I made one, it was real easy with Photo booth, it does the timed shots and places it in the squares then you can add the effect :). Normally I would do that it Photoshop but wanted to try that software out :) _________________ Have you hugged your Tarantula Today?
